2/20-Went up to the Bear's Creek after work to ride snowboards. 2nd day of $12 tickets. Got to get those deals.

2/21- Rode approximately 30 miles from Conshohocken to Lower Perkiomen Valley, back down through Manayunk to Machismo for burritos, and back up to Conshy. The universe can and will support 100%. 100% of it all.

2/15- Rode approximately 28 miles to West Chester and back. It feels amazing to get back on the bike. Cold feet, cold hands; warm heart.

So, we started a band called Lightening Rod. It consists of R. Sean on the drums and me on guitar, and then we switch off. We have 2 songs so far, but I am only really learning how to play so it is a bit ridiculous. Fun, but ridiculous. Our 3rd practice, 2/12:

2/7-My dad, otherwise known as Big Al, Allan by the Gallon, or the Dude; turned 60. We threw him surprise birthday party jam. A big thanks to all who came out to support.

2/6- Played hooky and went up to the bear's creek to ride snowboards. EMS had a special on $12 lift tickets, which they are doing again this Friday the 20th.

oh! pears at johnny brenda's

1/27/09- oh! pears played their biggest show yet at Johnny Brenda's, with Portland band Au and Philly band Circles. Me on the flute. Amazed that I did it after a 10 year hiatus and only 2 weeks of practicing. Whatever you want, you can do it. Feeling very privileged to be up there on that stage with everybody.
