Iron Hill Twilight Criterium

7/11- Watched a professional bike race in West Chester. The course was 60 laps around a 1K course. They ride around 37 mph, with sprints ~40mp, so it was at times a quick blur of bikes every 1 1/2 minutes. Needless to say, it was very hard to photograph.

This shot you can't actually see the riders, but I love the way the light is coming from a streetlight by that tree behind my head.

7/11- Rode 14 miles around the Art Museum loop. A lite ride, but some much needed other things happening on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

7/5- Rode ~25-30 miles around the city, From West Philly down University Ave to Washington Ave, over to Columbus Blvd, up to Girard, over to the Art Museum and around the loop, then back to West Philly.

4th of July in Fishtown

7/4/09- Outdoor concert at the plaza in Northern Liberties, vodka and gatorade in a water bottle, a broken rear derailleur, bbq in Fishtown.

Wed 7/1- Rode ~30 miles from West Philly to the Art Museum to the Conshy train station and back by the museum then home to West Philly. Taking care of myself and feeling much better.

Sat 6/27- Took the canoe out at Marsh Creek. A little rest and relaxation for my recovery.
