orchestra at the kimmel center
Thurs 10/29- Got tickets from Veronica for the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Kimmel Center. It was amazing. The score was Stravinsky, Scherzo fantastique; Tchaikovsky, Violin Concerto ; Prokofiev, Symphony No. 4. The solo violinist for the concerto was Sergey Khachatryan, a 24 year old from Armenia who played his instrument with more life and fire than anything else I have ever had the pleasure to witness. Enough said.
